Manager Lettershop Department

Responsibilities

• Manage the lettershop production department, overseeing 30-50 employees across multiple shifts
• Drive KPIs including throughput, labor efficiency, quality metrics, and schedule adherence
• Perform root cause analysis on process failures and implement continuous improvement techniques
• Manage employee performance through regular feedback, annual evaluations, and goal setting
• Coordinate with Scheduling and Maintenance teams to manage labor plans and preventive maintenance
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment while maintaining high quality control standards
• Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to recruit and retain top talent for the department

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience managing teams of 30-50 people
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the direct mail industry
• Background in print and mail production or lettershop operations
• Thorough understanding of printing processes, equipment, and materials
• Degree from an accredited university
