About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement strategies to attract and engage individuals through midlevel giving opportunities to meet annual revenue targets.
- Oversee the execution of donor acquisition, renewal, retention, and upgrade tactics across digital and print channels.
- Manage and mentor direct reports, supporting their professional growth and performance.
- Provide strategic management for volunteer committees, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
- Design stewardship calendars and content to connect donors with the impact of their generosity.
- Track and report on key metrics to evaluate revenue pacing and portfolio optimization.
- Collaborate with the Development team on long-term fundraising strategies and annual planning.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising with a proven track record of growing revenue.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and managing diverse fundraising portfolios.
- Experience providing leadership to senior volunteer committees and working with Board members.
- Strong project management expertise, including budget and team management.
- Highly developed data analytics skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional relationship-building and persuasive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for the visual arts.
- Knowledge of the Toronto donor and art communities.
