About the role
Responsibilities
- Initiate and design policies, guidelines, and procedures to drive employment compliance across the enterprise.
- Monitor compliance programs regarding hiring practices, wages, discrimination, harassment, and workplace accessibility.
- Define success metrics for compliance areas and integrate them into core business metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Articulate corporate positions on compliance matters to regulators and external agencies.
- Manage the development of cross-functional compliance risk identification, monitoring, and assessment procedures.
- Draft and vet all statutory notices and ensure adequate representation in concerned departments.
- Oversee contractor compliance with all applicable legislations and lead Labour Codes implementation.
- Collaborate with training and communications teams to educate partners on legal changes and compliance tools.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Technology, Product, Ecommerce, or Consulting organizations driving employment charters.
- Proven experience managing and implementing employment law compliance programs.
- Deep knowledge of labor and employment law frameworks and the ability to interpret legal changes.
- Experience with Labour Codes implementation.
- Strong ability to draft and vet statutory notices.
- Excellent communication skills with a detail-oriented and process-driven approach.

- Knowledge of international labor laws.
