Manager – IT SOX

Responsibilities

• Review data flows within new IT applications and infrastructure to identify relevant ITGC and ITAC controls for SOX scoping
• Assess existing controls and determine incremental controls required for testing
• Review key reports used for financial reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity
• Develop and modify control language for new and existing applications in alignment with stakeholders
• Conduct process walkthroughs and perform Test of Design (ToD) and Operating Effectiveness (OE) testing
• Manage the timely completion of testing plans and provide regular updates to the Internal Audit Head
• Document observations, suggest improvement actions, and follow up on remedial testing
• Prepare periodic IT SOX updates for Senior Leadership and the Audit Committee
• Support the annual IT Risk Assessment and ad hoc IT audit assignments
• Collaborate closely with Information Security, process owners, and external auditors

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of mandatory IT SOX Audit experience
• Deep understanding of IT Risk assessment and SOX Scoping processes
• Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC)
• Proven ability to identify appropriate controls for newly scoped applications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate complex points
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks within defined timelines

Preferred Qualifications

• CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification
• Experience using Workiva or similar audit management tools
