Manager - IT Quality

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Quality Engineering professionals across multiple cross-functional areas
• Lead quality efforts for large-scale projects and programs consisting of multiple testing tracks
• Manage resources including mentoring, coaching, performance appraisals, capacity planning, and budgeting
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules to ensure product quality
• Drive test automation initiatives, including in-sprint testing, script creation, and maintenance
• Build strong partnerships with application development teams and product managers to align on testing scope
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, standards, metrics, and tools
• Manage and mitigate testing-related risks and issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 8+ years of Software Testing experience
• 5+ years of people management experience
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
• ISTQB, CSTE, or similar certification
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC
• Experience with Agile, Scaled Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency in DevOps CI/CD with continuous automation and testing
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, ReadyAPI, AccelQ, or BDD Rest Assured
• Exposure to AI-driven testing tools and methodologies
• Ability to support production deployments during off-hours or CST hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Airline domain knowledge
• Experience with Docker, Dynatrace, and GitHub Actions
