Manager, IT Projects

Responsibilities

• Define IT program and project outcomes and scope in collaboration with project leaders
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, identifying deliverables, dependencies, and cost estimates
• Manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders responsible for IT projects across the organization
• Act as a strategic advisor to experts and project leaders to ensure all objectives are met
• Ensure project investments deliver maximum value to clients and business leaders
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including Project Managers and Project Control Officers (PCOs)
• Oversee project risk management and resource allocation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8-10 years of relevant professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience managing Project Managers (PMs) and Project Control Officers (PCOs)
• Proven experience in both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies
• Proficiency with Project Management tools such as Clarity, MS Project, or similar
• Strong ability to set goals and prioritize realistic objectives through effective planning
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for presenting information in various circumstances
• Experience working in virtual environments and managing resources within a matrix structure
• For candidates in Quebec, bilingualism (English/French) is required

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or PfM certification
