Manager, IT Infrastructure and Security

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and tactical oversight for digital infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud platforms.
• Lead the Information Security and Risk Management Program and oversee cybersecurity initiatives.
• Manage information security incident response, including forensic investigations and coordination with campus police and central IT.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Oversee direct reports, manage IT enterprise projects, and handle financial and contract management for hardware, software, and professional services.
• Collaborate with academic departments to ensure projects follow security standards for Identity and Access Management and privacy protection.
• Lead the architecture and governance of Security DevOps strategies, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• 5+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role within IT infrastructure or security operations.
• 5+ years of experience with Information Security as a primary focus.
• Proven experience with Azure cloud platforms and technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of Security DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills to interact with executive leadership and technical SMEs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, ISO Audit, PMP, or CRISC.
• Experience auditing systems for compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, PA-DSS).
• Experience with database administration and operation.
