Manager (IP-Prosecution)

Responsibilities

• Manage the IP lifecycle for both New Chemical Entity (NCE) and branded portfolios, including competition tracking.
• Ensure Freedom to Operate (FTO) for in-house NCEs and branded portfolios.
• Supervise patent search and analysis regarding NCEs and related competitive landscapes.
• Perform validity analysis of blocking patents.
• Conduct IP due diligence for in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities for technologies and products.
• Review legal agreements including CDAs, IITs, MSAs, and MTAs.
• Identify new product opportunities for APIs and formulations to generate ideas for new projects.
• Interact with internal stakeholders and external attorneys across various geographies.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Pharmacy or Masters in Pharmacy (specializing in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, or Pharmacology).
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in intellectual property.
• Proven expertise in patent drafting and prosecution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in patent law.
