About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day execution of audit engagements, including internal audits, SOX assistance, risk assessments, and maturity assessments for technology industry clients.
- Manage the design and development of audit plans, programs, working papers, and internal audit reports.
- Serve as a coach and mentor to staff, providing on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.
- Identify and communicate performance improvement opportunities and leading practices to client senior management.
- Assist in practice management activities, including resource allocation and career development decisions.
- Build and maintain collaborative professional relationships with clients and engagement teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in assurance, controls, or corporate compliance (consulting, auditing, risk management, or operational roles).
- Proven experience working with clients in the Technology industry.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate field.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to use data to resolve issues.
- Strong knowledge of risk, controls, accounting, and/or IT operations, including GAAP, SOX, COSO, or COBIT frameworks.
- Experience leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation.
