Manager Internal Audit

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the execution of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
• Develop an internal audit strategy aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives.
• Review and approve audit workpapers to ensure they meet quality standards and provide comprehensive documentation.
• Provide guidance, supervision, and coaching to audit teams and officers to support their professional development.
• Act as a primary point of contact for audit stakeholders and present audit conclusions to Executives.
• Drive the use of data analytics (such as ACL) within the audit process to support continuous monitoring.
• Design and implement a Control Self-Assessment framework.
• Work in an advisory capacity with business owners to provide independent strategic support.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA or Master's in IT, Aviation, or Data Analytics).
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CPA, or CIMA.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience within the aviation industry.
• Strong knowledge of ITGC (IT General Controls) and segregation of duties in IT applications.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools, specifically ACL.
