Manager, Internal Audit (Compliance)

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive, risk-based audit plans and testing procedures for risk and compliance audits.
• Execute audit fieldwork to assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Deliver insightful, actionable reports to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Implement data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Databricks, Looker) to improve audit efficiency and identify emerging risks.
• Manage internal business stakeholders and communicate complex risk and compliance issues clearly.
• Monitor and track the completion of management action plans to ensure timely remediation of findings.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices to promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of professional audit experience or experience as a financial industry practitioner.
• Expertise in Financial Crime Compliance, Fraud, Card Scheme Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management.
• Knowledge of banking regulators such as MAS, APRA, DNB, or FCA.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence change and present to senior management.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to be hands-on.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CAMS, or FRM.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools like Python, Databricks, or Looker.
• Experience working within a fast-paced fintech or global financial services environment.
