Manager, Internal Audit

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute a risk-based internal audit plan covering Regulatory Compliance, Technology, and Internal Functions for the Greater China region.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of compliance workflows and risk frameworks aligned with PBOC and Hong Kong regulatory requirements.
• Assess IT General Controls (ITGCs), baseline IT operations, and digital infrastructure governance.
• Conduct operational and control reviews across corporate functions including Finance, Treasury, People & Talent, and Legal.
• Act as engagement manager for third-party service providers and external subject matter experts for specialized technical audits.
• Build collaborative partnerships with control owners and business leaders to communicate risk insights and track remediation of findings.
• Leverage data analysis tools to improve audit scoping efficiency and streamline control testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Law, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk advisory.
• Experience within financial services, fintech, or third-party payments.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to oversee third-party vendors and manage multiple review timelines.
• Ability to navigate diverse audit domains including Compliance, Technology, and Operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CPA, or CAMS.
• Prior experience in a Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Aliyun, or Databricks).
• Experience working within a fast-paced, global matrix environment.
