About the role
Responsibilities
- Craft copy in the LA28 brand voice for social, web, app, and email, including video scripts
- Interpret and implement messaging strategies across multiple channels and asset types
- Review and copyedit all written content produced by the marketing team
- Brainstorm original social-first content in alignment with key brand initiatives
- Develop messaging briefing documents to guide content creation
- Organize and track incoming copy requests
- Work with internal stakeholders to secure copy approval and legal clearance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years of copywriting experience in-house or at an agency
- Experience mastering multiple complex brand voices with nuanced stylization systems
- Experience in fast-paced environments juggling multiple projects
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana or Smartsheet
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfort working with AI tools, preferably Google Gemini
- Skilled deck-maker and presenter
