About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction contract audits, compliance reviews, and project monitoring for large capital projects
- Review, analyze, and recommend improvements to construction management processes and internal controls
- Conduct project reviews to evaluate completion percentages, change order probabilities, schedule delays, and productivity loss
- Manage engagement teams performing fieldwork, data collection, and analysis
- Prepare and edit narrative reports and presentations of observations and recommendations
- Support client pursuit teams by assisting in drafting proposals and participating in business development events
- Build strong external networks with capital project owners, architectural/engineering professionals, and construction managers
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of recent experience in construction management or construction advisory services
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, or Accounting
- Experience with project management tools such as Procore, E-Builder, Primavera Enterprise, or Prolog
- Proven experience in client coordination and subcontractor management for full life cycle construction projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Professional certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or American Institute of Architects (AIA)
