Manager, Influencer Marketing

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Relay's influencer marketing strategy across paid, organic, UGC, and ambassador models
• Manage and develop a team of Influencer Marketing Managers, including hiring and performance management
• Personally manage high-stakes creator relationships and ambassador deals, negotiating usage rights and exclusivity
• Identify non-traditional creator partnerships to reach SMB-owner audiences
• Lead creative storytelling and concepting for major creator partnerships
• Build measurement infrastructure for brand lift, share of voice, and conversion attribution
• Monitor platform shifts, FTC compliance, and emerging creator formats

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in influencer or creator marketing
• At least 2 years of experience as a people manager
• Proven track record of scaling a creator program within a high-growth company
• Experience building both top-of-funnel and conversion-focused creator motions
• Deep platform fluency in YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, podcasts, or newsletters
• Strong negotiation skills for high-six and seven-figure deals
• Working fluency in FTC compliance, usage rights, and brand safety
• AI-fluency in executing outreach, briefing, and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a regulated industry such as fintech, healthcare, or legal
• A public presence in the creator economy (newsletter, podcast, or LinkedIn)
• Experience working with brands targeting small business owners or entrepreneurs
