Manager - Indirect Taxation

Responsibilities

• Manage GST return filing processes, including GSTR-1, 3B, 6 (ISD), 7, and 9/9C compliance.
• Perform revenue reconciliation and Input Tax Credit (ITC) matching between books and the GSTR-2B portal.
• Handle GST refund applications for exports of goods/services and Inverted Duty Structure (IDS).
• Liaise with GST authorities and manage departmental queries and audits at both Head Office and plant locations.
• Oversee cross-charge management under the GST framework, specifically regarding R&D processes.
• Prepare data collation, reconciliations, and formal written responses to Show Cause Notices (SCN) and other departmental inquiries.

Requirements

• M.Com or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Proven experience in GST return filing, ITC compliance, and refund processes.
• Mandatory proficiency in SAP-HANA and MS Office.
• Previous experience working within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong English drafting skills for formal replies, letters, and representations to tax authorities.
