Manager - Indirect Taxation

Responsibilities

• Manage GST return filing, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6 (ISD), ITC-04, and GSTR-7.
• Perform revenue reconciliation and Input Tax Credit (ITC) matching between books and the GSTR-2B portal.
• Oversee compliance for GSTR-9/9C and associated reconciliations.
• Handle GST refund applications for exports of goods/services and Inverted Duty Structure (IDS).
• Manage R&D cross-charge processes under the GST framework.
• Lead GST audits and prepare formal responses to departmental inquiries and Show Cause Notices (SCN).
• Liaise with GST authorities and handle departmental queries at both Head Office and plant locations.

Requirements

• M.Com degree.
• Proven experience working within the manufacturing industry.
• Mandatory proficiency in SAP-HANA.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent spoken and written English, specifically for drafting formal legal replies, letters, and representations to tax authorities.
