Manager - Indirect Taxation

Responsibilities

• Manage GST return filing, including GSTR-1, 3B, 6 (ISD), 7, and 9/9C, ensuring accurate revenue reconciliation and ITC matching.
• Oversee GST refund applications for exports and Inverted Duty Structure (IDS), including liaison with tax authorities.
• Handle Input Tax Credit (ITC) compliance and eligibility assessments under GST law.
• Manage R&D cross-charge processes within the GST framework.
• Lead GST audits and prepare formal responses to departmental inquiries and Show Cause Notices (SCN).
• Perform complex data collation and reconciliation to support tax consultants and departmental requirements.

Requirements

• M.Com degree.
• Proven experience in GST return filing and compliance (GSTR-1, 3B, 6, 7, 9/9C).
• Expertise in GST refund processes and ITC compliance.
• Mandatory proficiency in SAP-HANA and MS Office.
• Experience working within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong English drafting skills for formal replies, letters, and representations to tax authorities.
