Manager in Training

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in sales, customer experience, and daily operations
• Lead the sales floor team to exceed daily goals and ensure an inclusive, welcoming customer experience
• Educate customers and staff on brand values including ethical buying, fighting animal testing, and sustainable packaging
• Drive profitable results through strong business acumen and understanding of metrics, budgets, and reports
• Coach and develop staff, support recruitment, and foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
• Maintain operational excellence through inventory management, merchandising standards, and accurate scheduling

Requirements

• 1-3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment
• Excellent listening, communication, and customer service skills
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
• Ability to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with consultation-based customer service models
• Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite
• Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management
• Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
• Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
