About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure an inclusive customer experience
- Educate customers and staff on brand values including ethical buying and fighting animal testing
- Support the Store Manager in all business areas, acting as second-in-command
- Lead and motivate the team on the sales floor to meet sales targets
- Manage recruitment, selection, and staff development through coaching and feedback
- Oversee operational excellence including stock, inventory, merchandising, and scheduling
Requirements
- 1-3 years of managing or supervising in a retail environment
- Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills
- Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Ability to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings, and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite
- Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, and performance management
- Experience in cross-cultural collaboration or DEIB training
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
