Manager in Training

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure an inclusive customer experience
• Educate customers and staff on brand values including ethical buying and fighting animal testing
• Support the Store Manager in all business areas, acting as second-in-command
• Lead and motivate the team on the sales floor to meet sales targets
• Support recruitment, hiring, and staff development through coaching and feedback
• Manage shop operations including inventory, stock rotation, and merchandising standards
• Oversee scheduling, time, and attendance to ensure payroll accuracy and staff wellbeing

Requirements

• 1-3 years of managing or supervising in a retail environment
• Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills
• Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong organization and time management abilities
• Knowledge of skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with consultation-based customer service models
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, and performance management
• Experience in cross-cultural collaboration or DEIB training
• Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
