Manager in Financial Crime Solutions Team

Responsibilities

• Assess, design, develop, and validate Financial Crime (FinCrime) solutions and analytical models for the financial sector
• Perform reactive and proactive data analysis on large datasets using SQL, R, or Python
• Apply analytic techniques and develop algorithms to support FinCrime detection and prevention
• Assist financial institutions in optimizing Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening, and Customer Risk Rating models
• Manage and deliver multiple projects within set timelines while communicating with senior stakeholders
• Lead and up-skill team members to deliver complex technical initiatives

Requirements

• Proven experience in the Banking or Big4 sector specifically within Financial Crime risk management (AML, TPF, Sanctions, or Fraud)
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R
• Advanced Excel skills
• Educational background in Finance, Business, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or IT
• Fluency in both Latvian and English
• Hands-on experience with Transaction Monitoring, Customer Risk Rating, or Sanctions Screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI
• Knowledge of Fraud Transaction Monitoring or Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessments
• Proficiency in additional languages
