Manager II Program & Project Management

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional programs and projects that support enterprise strategy and operational goals.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Oversee governance activities, including performance tracking, reporting, and risk management.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve complex issues.
• Lead and develop a team of managers or analysts, fostering professional growth and performance excellence.
• Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Implement and maintain management standards, tools, and best practices for programs and projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive program or project management experience, including complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading project or program teams.
• Deep knowledge of Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Experience managing governance processes, including performance metrics, reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Proficiency in leveraging analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, or MS Project).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, PgMP, or SAFe Program Consultant.
• Experience with enterprise project management tools like JIRA or MS Project.
