Manager II - IT Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise a growing IT engineering team in India, overseeing critical IT automation, AI, and DevOps projects
• Lead the evaluation, innovation, and implementation of internal SaaS engineering automation systems and AI projects
• Provide formal performance management and support for direct reports in India, collaborating with US leadership
• Serve as a domain expert for the implementation, management, and support of Business Technology products and IT applications
• Develop metrics and dashboards to provide leadership with meaningful operational and performance status reports
• Manage technical requirements gathering, gap analysis, and contribute to backlog grooming
• Integrate DevOps methodologies and best practices into every step of the IT engineering process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in an IT Engineering role, including at least 3+ years of managing teams
• 6+ years of experience in software development and infrastructure
• Strong experience working with APIs in Node.js (JavaScript), Python, or Go
• Expertise in AWS and GCP cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and containerization tools like Docker
• Solid understanding of source code versioning using Git and GitHub
• Experience in the architecture and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
• Expertise with Splunk SIEM service
• Knowledge of corporate networking and email infrastructure (CCNP+ level)
• Experience working in a SaaS-first IT environment (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, etc.)
