About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 5–10 software engineers
- Own sprint planning, backlog execution, and delivery commitments to ensure timely feature releases
- Provide technical oversight by guiding architecture and design decisions
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, scalability, and performance requirements
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business teams to translate requirements into execution plans
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and mentor engineering talent
- Drive continuous improvement by ensuring Agile and SDLC practices are followed
- Track delivery metrics to improve team productivity
Requirements
- Proven experience leading a team of software engineers
- Strong expertise in Agile/SDLC practices and sprint management
- Ability to provide technical guidance on software architecture and design
- Experience in people management, including mentoring and performance reviews
- Strong communication skills to act as a bridge between leadership and engineering teams
