About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 5–10 software engineers
  • Own sprint planning, backlog execution, and delivery commitments to ensure timely feature releases
  • Provide technical oversight by guiding architecture and design decisions
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, scalability, and performance requirements
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business teams to translate requirements into execution plans
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and mentor engineering talent
  • Drive continuous improvement by ensuring Agile and SDLC practices are followed
  • Track delivery metrics to improve team productivity

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading a team of software engineers
  • Strong expertise in Agile/SDLC practices and sprint management
  • Ability to provide technical guidance on software architecture and design
  • Experience in people management, including mentoring and performance reviews
  • Strong communication skills to act as a bridge between leadership and engineering teams
