Manager I, Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Complete designs and requisitioning in a timely manner
• Adhere to Department/Group Working Instructions and QM Manuals
• Provide technical expertise and assistance to Department/Discipline Heads
• Act as Lead Engineer on assigned projects, managing design and requisitioning execution
• Review project plans for acceptability and ensure work stays within budget
• Manage client relationships, review documentation, and address feedback
• Review vendor bids and documentation for technical acceptability
• Perform equipment inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications
• Assist in developing new technologies and methods to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• 12-15 years of professional experience
• Minimum 8 years in a Process Department of a consultancy or technical service department
• Strong knowledge of steady state and transient analysis for pipelines and CW systems
• Proficiency with simulation models such as AFT Fathom, AFT Impulse, Pipenet, TLNET, or TGNET
• Ability to run transient models, identify issues, and implement mitigation measures
