Manager I, Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts and identify opportunities to improve team performance
• Develop and monitor performance metrics to drive business results
• Identify business impacts of trends and make data-backed decisions
• Communicate with external carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Escalate problems or data variances to relevant owners and follow through on resolutions
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis using Excel, SQL, or other data management systems
• Serve as an escalation point for transportation specialists
• Own process and business-level reports and ensure compliance

Requirements

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, or analytics
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, and VBA
