Responsibilities
- Manage several human rights projects concurrently
- Lead the intellectual agenda, shaping scope, methodology, and approach
- Maintain day-to-day company relationships
- Prepare for and lead workshops
- Lead and guide production of company-ready work products
- Manage multiple project teams of BSR colleagues
- Develop and manage project timelines and budgets
- Contribute to collaborative human rights initiatives and working groups
Requirements
- Native or high degree of fluency in both Japanese and English
- Significant experience working on business and human rights issues
- Consulting experience or proven ability to manage client relationships and business opportunities
- At least 5 years of experience in a high-performing, fast-paced environment
- Well-developed leadership and people skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to undertake international business travel (up to 15%)
- High ethical standards and commitment to core values
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or advanced study in human rights, sustainability, or a related discipline
