About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of professionals in managing HR workforce administration and complex employee lifecycle scenarios, including LOA transitions and severance events.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality customer interactions by reviewing case quality and providing day-to-day coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Execute employee data movements and status changes in compliance with country/locale regulatory requirements and defined policies.
  • Manage leave of absence (LOA) processes, including tracking status, coordinating with payroll/benefits, and maintaining accurate system documentation.
  • Oversee severance calculations and the preparation of separation documentation in accordance with local legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy in Workday through regular system audits and adherence to data management governance practices.
  • Manage sensitive worker data updates via manual processes or controlled mass uploads, such as Workday EIB.
  • Perform root cause analysis on operational issues and support process improvement initiatives to identify and close process gaps.
  • Act as the first-level escalation point for high-risk cases and manage non-standard scenarios within defined guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of human resources operational experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team lead position.
  • Proven expertise in Workday and strong experience with HCM systems in a global shared services environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Absence (Leave of Absence) and Time Tracking processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a recognized HR Certification.
  • Experience working within an HR Shared Services delivery model.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a rapid, fast-moving, and multi-cultural work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project management and delivering mid-to-large scale projects.
  • Working knowledge of HR and customer service software such as ServiceNow, SAP, or Automation/Robotics.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and experience with root cause analysis.
