Manager, Housing & Welfare

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of employee housing operations, including dormitory enrollment, assignments, and check-in/check-out procedures
• Implement and enforce dormitory rules, regulations, and visitor policies to ensure a safe living environment
• Conduct daily inspections of common areas and individual rooms to address cleanliness and maintenance concerns
• Coordinate with contractors for pest control, fire safety equipment inspections, and electrical facility maintenance
• Manage inventory levels for dormitory supplies, assets, linens, and cleaning materials
• Maintain accurate records of rooming lists, key distribution, maintenance requests, and staff duty rosters
• Act as a point of contact for employee feedback and escalate welfare concerns to Human Resources
• Collaborate with Loss Prevention to organize and conduct regular fire drills

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of progressive experience as a Housing or Accommodation Manager
• Proven experience working within the Middle East region
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and comprehensive record-keeping
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and fire safety regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience organizing employee welfare events such as staff parties and special occasions
• Demonstrated experience managing facility maintenance and external vendors
• Proven ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
• Certification in occupational health and safety or facility management
