Manager, Group Corporate Entities & Specialist Accounting

Responsibilities

• Deliver month-end and quarter-end accounting for share-based payments, employee benefits (IFRS2), and corporate sundry
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis for specialist corporate cost areas
• Manage accounting for Employee Benefit Trusts and related recharges
• Support Directors’ Remuneration Report disclosures and audit queries using highly confidential data
• Act as a finance business partner for Corporate Insurance activities
• Support half-year and year-end pension accounting in line with IAS 19
• Operate SOX-compliant controls and maintain balance sheet governance
• Drive process improvements and support team capability development

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• ACA / ACCA qualified or currently in progress
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, specifically in corporate or specialist areas
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly regarding employee benefits and share-based payments
• 3–5 years of experience operating within a SOX or internal control framework
• Proven experience in month-end close, forecasting, and GL reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience specifically in share-based payments or employee benefits accounting
• Exposure to Directors’ Remuneration or Annual Report disclosures
• Experience supporting statutory reporting or audit processes
• Familiarity with group reporting or consolidation systems such as SAP FC
