Manager, Government Relations

Responsibilities

• Support government relations in California and lead efforts across the U.S. Southwest (Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico)
• Drive public engagement campaigns and build relationships with key stakeholders
• Partner with Public Affairs, Communications, Legal, and other business functions
• Translate complex policy issues into clear, actionable written updates
• Manage external consultants and coordinate with industry trade associations and peer companies

Requirements

• BS or BA from an accredited university
• 4+ years of experience in state-level government or corporate public policy
• Deep understanding of lobbying strategies and issue management
• Strong strategic thinking and polished advocacy skills
• Ability to travel 30-40% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Combined government and in-house experience
• Direct policy experience in employment or labor law
• Significant state-level experience in California
• Experience in the tech industry or on-demand economy
