About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a group of managers to drive customer experience and operational efficiency within global origin operations
  • Coach and develop the team through prioritization, constructive feedback, and data-driven decision-making
  • Guide the team toward continuous improvement using metrics, data, and customer feedback
  • Develop operational processes to achieve business goals and maintain customer obsession
  • Manage complex operational issues by developing, tracking, and analyzing key performance indicators
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, LSPs, carriers, and external customers
  • Serve as the primary interface for Seller Operations, Product, Finance, and Tech teams for new program and system launches
  • Handle complex problems, decisions, and escalations while driving strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding, focusing on Customer Service, Operations, or Key Account management
  • Extensive experience managing operations or customer service teams within the logistics industry
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain talent and coach team leads
  • Deep understanding of legal and commercial frameworks, including Sea, Air, customs documentation, and international trade compliance
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement effective solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for interacting with stakeholders in a multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field
  • Experience in cross-border logistics within the e-commerce sector
  • Certification in Quality, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and managing company-wide programs
