Manager, Global Benefits and HR Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage global benefits strategy, including plan design, vendor selection, and annual renewals
• Oversee benefits administration, enrollment processes, and billing across all regions
• Manage employer-sponsored retirement plan contributions and serve on the 403(b) committee
• Review and determine all leave types, eligibility, and entitlements globally
• Act as strategic owner and administrator of the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and system configuration
• Design and maintain SOPs and workflows for HR processes
• Liaise with Payroll to ensure alignment of data transfers and manage non-exempt time-tracking
• Ensure regulatory compliance with US laws (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA) and international data protection laws

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience in benefits, payroll, and HRIS administration
• Experience administering benefits across different geographies
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
• Proficiency with HR and payroll systems
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a global NGO
• HR Certifications such as SHRM-CP and/or PHR
