Manager, GL Accounting

Responsibilities

• Own key corporate accounting areas including expense accruals, reconciliations, accounts payable, and complex balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Manage the monthly and quarterly close process ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance scalability and close efficiency
• Ensure strong internal controls over financial reporting, including control design, documentation, and remediation
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors
• Lead and develop a team of corporate accounting professionals through coaching and performance management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA certification
• 8+ years of prior work experience
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with manufacturing or complex legal/reporting structures

• Public accounting experience
• Proven success in creating efficiencies and systems in fast-paced environments
