Manager, Gas Supply

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational and commercial activities for natural gas procurement across the data center portfolio
• Establish and maintain relationships with gas marketers, producers, and pipeline operators
• Navigate pipeline EBBs and manage end-to-end open season participation and interconnection requests
• Support the negotiation of commercial transactions, including gas supply, transportation, and precedent agreements
• Evaluate natural gas infrastructure options and utilize GIS mapping to analyze interconnection needs
• Coordinate with engineering and power teams to align on gas ramp schedules and equipment specifications
• Monitor gas market conditions, pricing, and regional pipeline capacity dynamics to provide market intelligence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Energy Management, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in natural gas trading, scheduling, origination, or gas operations
• Established network of contacts across gas marketers, producers, and pipeline companies
• Experience negotiating and executing commercial agreements with gas suppliers and pipeline operators
• Strong understanding of pipeline transportation, nominations, scheduling, and contract mechanisms (ICAs, OBAs)
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent commercial and operational workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to ERCOT, PJM, or other organized wholesale markets
• Technical understanding of natural gas-fired generation and gas infrastructure
• Knowledge of regulatory and environmental issues related to natural gas infrastructure development
• MBA or advanced degree
