About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead centralized planning and integration for Games Family Services (GFS) across all workstreams
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end GFS service plans aligned with Games operations
  • Serve as the primary integration point between GFS functions and cross-functional partners
  • Track planning milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues
  • Manage planning documentation, ensuring accuracy and version control
  • Build out SharePoint collaboration sites and maintain team document libraries
  • Prepare executive summaries, reports, and presentations for leadership
  • Coordinate and lead the GFS Functional Command Centre (FCC) during Games-time operations
  • Monitor operational status, incident escalation, and venue readiness

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in project management roles
  • 2–3 years of direct people management experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Smartsheet
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, budgeting, forecasting)
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills for executive presentations
  • Strong Microsoft Word proficiency
  • Experience with MS Planner, Loop, or OneNote
  • Oral and written fluency in English
  • Diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an international, large event or multi-sport Games environment
  • Experience working in multi-lingual settings
  • Knowledge of additional languages
