Manager, Fund Operations, Private Equity

Responsibilities

• Manage quarter-end and year-end processes for closed-end private equity funds.
• Oversee fund administrators to ensure timely delivery and issuance of quarterly investor reporting.
• Review accruals, billings, management fee calculations, investment ledgers, and waterfall calculations.
• Manage investment transactions, including LPA compliance, performance calculations, and treasury/cash management.
• Liaise with fund auditors throughout the year-end process and monitor new accounting pronouncements under US GAAP, IFRS, and Canadian GAAP.
• Support compliance certifications, credit facility compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Assist with special projects and support the client service team with investor queries and portal oversight.

Requirements

• CPA designation is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and Canadian GAAP reporting guidelines.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fund structures, fee calculations, and financial instruments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with valuations.
• Proficiency with Investran software.
