Manager, Fund Operations

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Shared Services and fund accounting teams to centralize and communicate fund data across the organization
• Aggregate, provide, and analyze fund-level data for corporate accounting, corporate finance, and parent company reporting
• Serve as a key contact for the Internal Controls Group to support SOX/SOC-1 control testing and scoping
• Assist with the auditor independence process, including documentation, inquiry collection, and stakeholder communication
• Support the coordination of funds' financial statement audits and auditor independence inquiries
• Participate in process improvement projects to implement best practices across Fund Accounting teams

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting or audit experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of private investment funds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to reach conclusions under tight time constraints

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in the asset management industry
• Experience with SOX or SOC-1 compliance audits
