About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Unit leaders to develop and review business cases for capital expenditures related to growth and efficiency.
- Build and analyze Capex models to ensure accuracy in cost estimates and projected financial returns.
- Benchmark projected returns against industry trends, prior projects, and external resources.
- Assess accounting implications, including depreciation, amortization, and lease accounting.
- Monitor and report on Capex project status to ensure compliance with company spending policies.
- Support business development and M&A workstreams, including due diligence and deal scoping.
- Collaborate with core teams to optimize end-to-end Capex processes across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of proven experience in capital projects, construction finance, or manufacturing facilities cost initiatives.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, including pre- and post-project execution (lookbacks).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with large data sets.
- Strong project management, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Professional certification such as CMA or CPA.
