About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Unit leaders to develop and review business cases for capital expenditures related to growth and efficiency.
  • Build and analyze Capex models to ensure accuracy in cost estimates and projected financial returns.
  • Benchmark projected returns against industry trends, prior projects, and external resources.
  • Assess accounting implications, including depreciation, amortization, and lease accounting.
  • Monitor and report on Capex project status to ensure compliance with company spending policies.
  • Support business development and M&A workstreams, including due diligence and deal scoping.
  • Collaborate with core teams to optimize end-to-end Capex processes across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of proven experience in capital projects, construction finance, or manufacturing facilities cost initiatives.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, including pre- and post-project execution (lookbacks).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with large data sets.
  • Strong project management, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional certification such as CMA or CPA.
