About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare the forecasted cash flow model and capital planning.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting deliverables for senior leadership, including the CFO and CEO.
  • Manage monthly interest expense forecasts, foreign exchange analysis, and balance sheet FX exposure assessments.
  • Lead the SPAR financial aggregation process and work with project managers on business case development.
  • Track project financial readouts to ensure capital forecasts align with expectations.
  • Conduct regular variance analysis to identify and explain deviations between actual results and forecasts.
  • Directly manage and mentor analysts, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • At least 3 years of experience within the hospitality industry.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Hyperion.
  • Advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA.
  • Prior experience managing direct reports.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality-specific KPIs such as ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy rates.
