Manager, Forecasting US OBU

Responsibilities

• Develop brand forecasts for strategic brands and early assets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain complex forecast models, identifying key business issues and incorporating research results.
• Lead a team of forecasters to ensure high-quality outputs and drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve process-related issues and optimize strategic insights.
• Manage multiple projects in parallel, ensuring effective risk mitigation and planning.

Requirements

• 15+ years of direct pharmaceutical forecasting experience with deep knowledge of forecasting techniques and models.
• Extensive experience with pharmaceutical data sources, including IQVIA (MIDAS, DDD NPA, Monthly Xponent) and claims data (Truven, Marketscan).
• Specific experience with US forecasting methodologies, including TRx, NBRx, and NRx data.
• Superior analytical expertise with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Proven project management experience and the ability to build trusted relationships across Marketing, Analytics, and Operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of multiple disease areas and patient treatment pathways.
• Experience integrating market research and secondary data analysis into forecast assumptions.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical methodologies and applied AI/ML/automation.
• Experience with forecasting platforms and transitioning business-as-usual processes to new platforms.
• Proficiency with Power Apps and PowerBI.
• Working knowledge of US Market Access and gross-to-net.
