Manager, Forecasting Global OBU

Responsibilities

• Develop brand forecasts for strategic brands and early assets in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Create and maintain complex forecast models, identifying key business issues and incorporating research results
• Lead and manage a team of forecasters, ensuring high-quality outputs and driving continuous improvement
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve process-related issues and optimize forecasting workflows
• Drive strategic insights to guide brand strategy and support the development of life-changing medicines

Requirements

• 15+ years of direct pharmaceutical forecasting experience with deep knowledge of forecasting techniques and models
• Extensive experience with pharmaceutical data sources, including IQVIA (MIDAS, DDD NPA, Monthly Xponent) and claims data (Truven, Marketscan)
• Advanced analytical expertise with superior Excel and financial modelling skills
• Proven project management experience, including risk mitigation and managing multiple parallel projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across Marketing, Analytics, and Operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of multiple disease areas and patient treatment pathways
• Experience integrating market research and secondary data analysis into forecast assumptions
• Knowledge of advanced statistical methodologies and applied AI/ML/automation
• Experience working with forecasting platforms and transitioning business-as-usual processes
• Proficiency with Power Apps and PowerBI
• For US forecasting, working knowledge of US Market Access and gross-to-net
