Manager - Fire Protection Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4 to 8 technical contributors and project managers
• Promote a positive team culture focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations through clear communication
• Participate in business development activities and local society meetings
• Implement and improve business processes for service delivery
• Recruit, mentor, and train staff on technical, project management, and business processes
• Execute company and regional strategies in collaboration with leadership

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical consulting
• Proven history of developing and cultivating client relationships
• Well-rounded working knowledge of fire protection engineering fundamentals
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite in the Houston, TX office

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) License
