About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with finance teams (Pay-out, Treasury, GL, Tax, etc.) to streamline operations and improve systems.
  • Address operational issues and drive continuous improvements across various finance functions.
  • Co-lead projects focusing on solutioning, process design, documentation, implementation, and BAU.
  • Act as a techno-functional specialist to influence business decisions and advocate for company-wide benefits.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and test adaptable finance tech solutions.
  • Prioritize finance opportunities targeting risk reduction, efficiency, data quality, and compliance.
  • Design scalable and resilient finance systems architecture to meet evolving business needs.
  • Define and analyze key metrics for finance systems to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 7-8 years of experience in finance systems and operations within the tech or e-commerce sectors.
  • Proven track record as a techno-functional expert in finance systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of risk and controls related to finance systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in basic SQL.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively alongside Product, Tech, and Finance teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working across finance cross-functions such as tax or finance operations.
  • Familiarity with local/US GAAP and financial/accounting management compliance.
  • Experience in project management using Agile or SDLC methodologies.
  • Experience in data analytics.
  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion ERP or SAP.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
