Manager, Financial Sustainability & Reinsurance

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for the Financial Sustainability & Reinsurance team.
• Own the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of MIGA's capital adequacy framework, including economic capital models and guarantee pricing.
• Oversee corporate finance and investment strategy, driving integration between guarantee and investment portfolios.
• Provide strategic oversight of the reinsurance program to ensure alignment with financial sustainability and capital objectives.
• Manage team performance, build capability, and foster cross-team learning to support MIGA's strategic expansion.
• Translate complex quantitative outputs into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of directly relevant professional experience.
• Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills, including experience with scenario analysis.
• Proven experience in capital adequacy frameworks and risk management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing diverse professional teams and driving institutional change.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
