Manager Financial Crime Solutions Team

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, implement, and validate analytical tools and models to manage financial risk for regulatory reporting and decision-making.
• Apply statistical, economic, and mathematical techniques to solve complex business and risk management problems.
• Communicate directly with banks and financial institutions to manage stakeholders and suggest ways to manage credit, market, and non-financial risks (AML, Sanctions, Fraud, ESG).
• Assess and transform risk operations, processes, and frameworks to drive desired outcomes.
• Manage and deliver one or more projects or technical solutions, ensuring high quality and effective time management.
• Supervise and manage professional employees to deliver complex technical initiatives.

Requirements

• Mandatory experience in the banking sector within Financial Risk Management or Finance.
• Hands-on experience with Credit Risk, RWA, Stress Testing, or Quantitative Financial Modelling.
• Educational background in Finance, Business, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or IT.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, and excellent Excel skills.
• Excellent English and Latvian language skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI.
• Additional experience in AML, Sanctions, or Fraud areas within the banking sector.
• Previous experience in a Big4 professional services environment.
• Proficiency in additional languages for working with international clients.
