Manager - Finance

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) cycle, including General Ledger management, month-end/year-end close, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with Ind AS, IFRS, or US GAAP.
• Manage consolidation across multiple legal entities and currencies, including elimination entries and intra-group transactions.
• Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) function, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment runs.
• Drive automation of AP processes and financial workflows using ERP systems and AI-enabled tools.
• Lead statutory audits (internal and external) and act as the primary point of contact for auditors to ensure clean, timely closures.
• Maintain robust accounting policies, internal controls, and a scalable chart of accounts.

Requirements

• CA (Chartered Accountant), CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is mandatory.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in Finance or Controllership roles.
• Proven expertise in financial consolidation across multiple entities and currencies.
• Deep understanding of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
• Hands-on experience leading statutory audits and managing auditor relationships.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a B2B SaaS or high-growth technology company.
• Exposure to international tax compliance, transfer pricing, or FEMA regulations.
• Experience implementing or improving AP automation or close management tools (e.g., Tipalti, BlackLine).
• Prior experience supporting fundraising due diligence or M&A financial reviews.
• Experience managing or mentoring a small finance or accounting team.
