About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee general accounting, AP/AR, and treasury coordination
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Design and implement internal controls in line with SGS Minimum Control Standards
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework at country level
  • Partner with FP&A for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and local regulations
  • Drive process optimization, automation, and standardization across finance operations
  • Lead and develop a team within finance operations and controls

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification required
  • 8–12 years of experience including a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory requirements
  • Expertise in internal control frameworks and audit methodologies
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree
