Manager, FDE

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) function
• Act as a player-coach for the first six months, personally building the most complex AI agents
• Own the FDE hiring funnel, ramp processes, and individual contributor performance
• Ensure delivery quality and speed across all live agents in production
• Codify the Supersonik agent playbook, defining best practices and anti-patterns
• Establish a platform feedback loop with the Engineering team to influence product priorities and primitives

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading SaaS implementation or technical delivery teams
• Proven experience managing teams of 10+ individual contributors
• Technical proficiency in reading code, prompting LLMs, and understanding complex integrations
• Demonstrated track record of building and scaling ramp programs alongside team growth
• Ability to work in-person at our Barcelona office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Implementation Lead at a top-tier SaaS company (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow)
• Background as an Engineering Manager with enterprise implementation ownership
• Experience in FDE roles at high-growth AI or data companies (e.g., Palantir, OpenAI, Sierra)
• Background in MBB consulting with a transition into technical implementation leadership
